Small steps opened its doors in 2014. It is a purpose designed facility, which offers bright, spacious and child friendly rooms.

The mission of Small Steps Childcare is to offer you and your child the very best in quality, affordable, flexible childcare.

We will always make the individual developmental needs of every child attending Small Steps our main priority.

Small Steps is a private service.

We are open 50 weeks per calendar year, closing only at Christmas. We open from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday
We welcome children 12months – 6years & offer after school service up to 12years.

​We have a open door policy where parents are welcome to visit and view our service. No appointments requested.
Meet The Team
Hello, I'm Alison. I'm a mum to a little boy. My journey in the early years sector has been really fulfilling. I've always been passionate about giving young children the best start in life. Starting as a practitioner, I gradually moved up the ranks to recently becoming the Crèche manager. Working with babies and toddlers for nine years provided me with invaluable insights into their development and care needs.
I'm dedicated to continuous professional development and always eager to meet new families. I believe in creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. It's truly rewarding to see them grow and learn.

Hi I'm Nicole

I absolutely love working in childcare and find it so rewarding to care for and support young children every day. I help with the day-to-day running of the crèche and work closely with the team to make sure the children are happy, safe and enjoying their time with us. I truly believe every child deserves to feel loved, supported and encouraged to be themselves.
My favourite part of the job is spending time with the children, getting to know their little personalities, and meeting parents and families each day. I love welcoming everyone into the crèche and working together to support each child’s growth and development.

Services We Provide
Breakfast Club
8am-9am
We provide a range of cereals, toast and milk or water.
School drop-off & pick-up service
We offer a drop off and pick up service from Crubany National School. Bus leaves our creche at 9.10am for school at 9.20am
Pick up is from 2pm -3pm

Afterschool Care
2pm-6pm
When children arrive from school they are provided with a hot freshly cooked nutritious meal. After dinner, children are assisted with homework. Children are encouraged to assist in planning activities they enjoy to do after homework is finished indoor and outdoor.
